What is the Legacy campaign?

The Legacy campaign is all about expanding our ministry campus in order to continue to fulfill our vision of reaching people and building lives.

Why are we building a new facility?

The simple answer is people. Since the inception of our church, we have emphasized the importance of reaching people and seeing them come to Christ and grow in their faith. Because of this continued focus, we now have upwards of 400 people attending the weekend services. Our over-crowded facilities and limited parking inhibits growth. We are at maximum capacity. In order to accommodate our growing church family, it is vital that we build a new church home. This enlarged facility will allow us to not only impact more people through our weekend services, but will enable us to train, equip, and release leaders to touch our community, region, and the world.

What will be included in the Legacy campus expansion?

Our new facility will include...

Total square footage = ~12,000-15,000 sq. ft. / 450 seat state-of-the-art Worship Center with theatre-style seating / 150 paved parking spaces / Large open court yard / Children's Ministry Facilities / Cafe / Multiple Age Appropriate classrooms / Spacious Community Lobby / An expansive commons area with warm and comfortable gathering spaces for friends and family.

When will construction begin?

In the Spring of 2010, the construction process will begin with clearing land for site development. Prayerfully, by Easter 2011, the doors will open to our new church home. This facility will give us the opportunity to reach more people for Christ and position us to leave a great legacy for generations to come.

How much will the project cost?

The total project cost is approx. $1-2 million. This includes a 450 seat Worship Center, children's ministry areas, classrooms and nursery, coffee areas and community lobby, 150 paved parking spots and landscaping. The cost also includes sound, video, and lighting equipment, as well as fixtures and furnishings, all of which are necessary to make this building our church home.

How are we going to do this?

This is a God-sized task far beyond the ability of any one person. Together, with God's help, we can attain this vision. The Legacy campaign need is $500,000.00 over the next three years. It will take each of us; individuals and families, sacrficially partnering together to fufill this need. Your three year commitment to the Legacy campaign should be an amount God leads you to give over and above your regular tithe. In order to continue ministering to our growing church family, we must maintain our regular giving in regards to the tithes.

What are you asking me to do?

We are asking everyone in our church to do two key things pray and participate.

Pray - We are asking everyone who calls Celebration Church their home to pray throughout the entire three year Legacy journey.

Participate – We are asking everyone to prayerfully partner in the Legacy journey through sacrificial giving. From Scripture (I Chronicles 28:2, 29:1-12) we learn that in the building of the Temple it was not about equal gifts, but equal sacrifice. We are asking everyone to make a three-year financial commitment. Your commitment to Legacy should be an amount God leads you to give over and above your regular tithe.

The Legacy Campaign is about impacting people.

The decisions that we make today affect not only our generation, but also the generations to come. As you walk through our facility on any given weekend, the great need for additional space for our growing church family is evident. God is calling us to act now and meet our vital, spatial needs and to prepare for the future growth of our church family. We recognize that this is a God-sized task far beyond the ability of any person.

Reaching our need of $500,000.00 will take sacrifices from all of us.
